And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 7 - 0, fighting out of New York, Cliff Anderson!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Steve Montenegro and Lou da Vinci.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anderson circles away from the clinch attempt.
Anderson lands a jab to the head.
Anderson lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as McGordon backs up against the cage.
McGordon tries to bum rush Anderson with a series of wild strikes but Anderson uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Anderson connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

McGordon is rocked!

Anderson clinches up against the cage.
Oh McGordon is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Anderson looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
McGordon wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.

Anderson gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
McGordon wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Anderson manages to pass to side control.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Anderson has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.

McGordon seems to have got his legs back now.
McGordon tries to lock up and control but Anderson gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Anderson content just to control the position here.
We've been hearing good reports from McGordon's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Anderson is working to isolate an arm here. It's a telegraphed submission attempt but he's gone for it anyway - and he's got it! Anderson extends the arm and McGordon is forced to tap!
