Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Konstantin Magomedov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Chris Rubey (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Magomedov comes into the arena with Ave Maria blaring out of the sound system. Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Rubey avoids the body shot from Magomedov.
Rubey takes a nice looking leg kick right on the meat of his thigh there.
A solid leg kick lands there for Rubey.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Magomedov.
Rubey throws out a counter right but Magomedov avoids it with no problem.

Rubey connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.

Rubey lands with an uppercut that bounces Magomedov off the cage and back into range.

and he gets countered with a snapping leg kick.
Magomedov attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Rubey throws a big shot that misses.
Magomedov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Rubey moves away.
Rubey works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
Magomedov tried to score with a low kick but Rubey checks it.
Magomedov avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
As Rubey tries to get set, Magomedov tries to push him back and clinch up but Rubey manages to avoid the attempt.
Magomedov moves away from the strike by Rubey.
Magomedov has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.
Konstantin Magomedov seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Magomedov throws a head kick that misses
and Rubey counters with a nice low kick that buckles Magomedov's knee momentarily.
Rubey throws a hook but Magomedov blocks it.

Rubey throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Rubey catches Magomedov with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

Rubey lands a nice hook to Magomedov's body. Magomedov takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.

Rubey throws a nice inside leg kick.

Magomedov bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Magomedov wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Rubey takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Magomedov throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Rubey tumbling to the canvas!

Magomedov stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Rubey has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Magomedov manages to get his head free but now Rubey has transitioned to an armbar! Magomedov grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Rubey! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
