PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lil Kuntry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Lester Hudson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the prize buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Lil Kuntry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Hilo, Lester Hudson!
The judges for this bout are Jeff Smith, Ryoma Takatsuka and Chris Saunders.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kuntry goes for a double leg but Hudson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hudson continues to drive forward.
Hudson connects with a good right hand that stumbles Kuntry. Kuntry circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Hudson fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.

Kuntry shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hudson napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Kuntry decides to stand back up.
Hudson misses with a looping right.
Kuntry takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Kuntry has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Kuntry there as he acknowledges the shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Hudson lands with a nice combination. Kuntry backs away looking to recover.
Kuntry walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
We've been told by Kuntry's head coaches at Cozad MMA New York that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Kuntry walks straight into a right hand from Hudson - that's dropped him! Hudson jumps into mount and starts pounding away - can he finish?! More strikes go undefended and the referee has to dive in to save Kuntry from any more punishment! Kuntry complains about the stoppage but falls over as he tries to stand back up, so it was clearly a good stoppage.
