The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teló swings for the body but Murphy moves out of range.
Teló connects with a right hand. Murphy shakes it off.

It looks like Cedric Murphy has been cut.
Teló's corner calls for a 1-2. Teló obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Murphy looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Murphy throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land.
Murphy is looking to score with low kicks.
Teló drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Murphy defends it well.
Teló throws a low kick but Murphy avoids it.
Murphy appears to be looking for a big counter.
Murphy throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Teló closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Murphy quickly recovers to half guard.

Murphy has managed to escape just enough to sneak back to his feet but Teló is on him like a limpet, forcing Murphy back against the cage.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Murphy manages to break the clinch.
Murphy throws a nice looking combination but Teló bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Teló misses with a low kick as Murphy jumps back.
Teló takes an uppercut right on the button but keeps his composure.
Teló has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Cedric Murphy seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Murphy tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Teló had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Murphy defends it easily.
Teló is trying to control the position from the bottom.
