Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Demar Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Raymond Holt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holt has chosen Brooklyn Nine-Nine Theme Song as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Demar Jones has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holt missing with a left hand there. Jones was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Holt throws a hook to the side of Jones's head but Jones sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Jones connects with a jab.
Holt on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Holt throws a series of punches but Jones moves out of range.
Jones fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Holt looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Holt throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Jones tries to bum rush Holt with a series of wild strikes but Holt uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Holt slips under a jab.
Jones throws a head kick that misses.
Holt fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Jones manages to avoid it.
Holt bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Jones's head.
Holt tries to clinch up but Jones circles away and keeps his distance.

Jones moves into range and connects with a jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Holt steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Jones. That one must have hurt.

Jones lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.

Jones throws a low kick but it's checked well by Holt.

Holt closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Holt lands in his opponent's guard.

Jones is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Jones is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Combat Fitness that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Jones's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Holt holds on and takes a little breather.

Holt is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

Holt ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Jones's jaw. Jones's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Holt does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.

Call it a career resurgence or what not, but i think im slowly knocking towards a title shot! Give me a top guy for my next fight. I want to prove im ready for a shot at the belt.
