The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Cano is defended easily by Linwood.
Cano shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Linwood counters with a left and a right that stings Cano.

Linwood looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into side control! Oh, that's bad for Cano!

Linwood really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Cano. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Cano is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.
Linwood is keen to just control but Cano is a slippery customer.

Cano has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Linwood. Oh but Cano has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Linwood goes limp - he's gone! Cano jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
