The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buckley shoots in but Peterson avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Peterson lands a nice looking body shot.
A head kick misses from Buckley.
Peterson uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Buckley has time to react.
Buckley takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Peterson lands a slapping body shot.
Peterson bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Buckley goes for a double leg but Peterson avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Peterson continues to drive forward.
Peterson throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Buckley stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Peterson throws a shot to the body.
Peterson takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.

Peterson lands a glancing blow to the side of Buckley's head.
Peterson defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Buckley.

Buckley shoots in for a takedown but Peterson shows good takedown defense.

Peterson circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Buckley tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Peterson wins by KO!
