The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fighters circling - Burdyalov throws out the jab but it was never going to land.

Raunio lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.

Raunio lands a big uppercut and Burdyalov crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Burdyalov looks OK. Raunio waves Burdyalov back to his feet!

Raunio lands a big head kick that sends Burdyalov tumbling to the mat! Raunio takes a step backwards and waves Burdyalov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Raunio connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.

Burdyalov ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Raunio moves away.
Raunio lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Raunio cracks Burdyalov with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Burdyalov looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Raunio finish him?
Burdyalov tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.
Raunio drops Burdyalov with a straight left! Oh this is bad for Burdyalov! Raunio dives in and starts dropping bombs - the referee has no choice but to step in and save him!

A less than humble Rauli Raunio misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
