The judges for this bout are William Peck, Steve Smith and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pu stuffs the takedown.
Pu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.

It looks like Gjermus Myrene has been cut.
Pu lands a nice leg kick that just misses Myrene's sensitive parts.
Myrene tries to clinch up but Pu circles away and keeps his distance.
A punch combination from Pu misses.
Myrene darts in trying to clinch
and Pu counters with a straight right hand.
A head kick by Myrene misses
and Pu counters with a nice uppercut.
Myrene connects with a body shot that sends Pu's belly button to the back.
Pu lands a nice shot to the body.
Myrene throws a head kick but Pu moves out of range.
Pu went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Pu closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Pu scores with a shot to the side of Myrene's head.
Myrene tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Pu lands a hook that snaps the head of Myrene backwards.

With the two fighters working up against the cage, Myrene just misses with a elbow thrown towards Pu's brow.
Myrene is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Pu gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Myrene misses with a short punch on the inside.
Myrene tries a knee to the head but he's missed.

Pu's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Pu has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance.

Myrene lands a nice hook to Pu's body. Pu takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Donk. Pu catches Myrene right on the button with a cross.

Myrene has taken the fight to the clinch.
Pu wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Pu lands a hook that snaps the head of Myrene backwards.
Pu will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Myrene up against the cage.

Pu is trying to force a seperation but Myrene has the dominant position.
Myrene is looking to score with knees to the body. Maybe he'll change it up and go body then head. Pu is defending well for now.
A right hook to the body lands for Pu.
Myrene looks winded!

Pu pushes Myrene against the cage. Pu is working some dirty boxing. Pu pushes off with a quick right hook! Myrene goes down! Myrene tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Pu moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Rudy Pu decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little.
