Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Hajime Saito (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Chivaro (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chivaro has chosen Above and Below as his entrance music. Guy Chivaro acknowledges the crowd's support as he enters the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Shigeki Fujiwara, Yasuomi Hirokawa and Shigeki Sano.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Chivaro feints and as Saito raises his hands in defense, Chivaro changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Chivaro drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Chivaro jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Saito has his foot on Chivaro's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Chivaro works his way back into a safe position though.

Saito is looking for a triangle but Chivaro pushes his legs off easily.
Chivaro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saito swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Saito working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Chivaro doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Chivaro manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
Chivaro stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Saito swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Saito looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Chivaro wants to pass the guard but Saito is defending well.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Chivaro is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Saito defends it well.

Chivaro seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Saito does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Chivaro looks gassed!
Saito wants to get back to full guard.
Chivaro is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!
Saito wants to control but Chivaro is having none of it.
Saito is squirming around, avoiding Chivaro's attempts to control the action.
Saito regains half guard.

Saito looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Saito won't allow Chivaro to pass to mount.
Chivaro prevents Saito from improving his position.
Chivaro passes to side control.

Chivaro tries to move into full mount but can't pass Saito's legs.
Saito manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Saito gets full guard.
Saito manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Saito is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Chivaro has managed to escape the submission attempt.

Saito working for a guillotine from mount but Chivaro is in no mood to give up.
Chivaro regains half guard.

Saito is working for a submission of some sort.

Saito is looking for a kimura here.
Chivaro keeping control of the position.
Chivaro is pressing down on Saito's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Saito won't allow Chivaro to sweep him here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Saito passes Chivaro's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Chivaro tries to get to full guard but Saito has control of the leg.
Saito passes the guard and advances to mount!
Chivaro is desperately trying to improve his position but Saito has a good base and remains in mount.

Saito is controlling this nicely and is looking to make no mistakes. Chivaro is trying to wiggle out of this horrible position. Chivaro flips to his side and attempts to get a leg in for half guard. Saito anticipates the leg and manages to get behind Chivaro and secures both hooks! This could be bad! Saito slips an arm under Chivaro chin and tries to position for a rear naked choke. Saito has worked the choke in now and it looks tight. Saito is squeezing on Chivaro like an anaconda would it's prey. Chivaro fails to tap and has fallen unconscious! We've got ourselves a winner by way of a rear naked choke!
