Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Pit Mies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Thiago Dellave (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mies might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Condemned 84 - Face the agression. Thiago Dellave has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jab by Dellave.

Mies closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Dellave to the mat! Dellave manages to get full guard.
Mies is in close to Dellave's body, working some short punches and elbows.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Dellave can do anything to dispel that myth.
Mies wants to control from the top but Dellave keeps moving.

Mies is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.
Dellave looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Mies showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Mies won't allow Dellave to sweep him here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Mies thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
Mies is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Mies throwing strikes but missing.
Dellave tries to land a sweep but no joy.
Dellave seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Mies tries to free his leg and advance position but Dellave is retaining full guard.
Mies cracks Dellave with a solid left hand.
Mies trying to control but Dellave is working from the bottom.
Dellave really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Mies. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Mies has gone for a leg lock! Dellave slips out almost immediately though and dives into Mies's guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Mies working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dellave doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Mies is tightening it up a little... Dellave has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Dellave reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Dellave taps out! Nice BJJ there by Mies!
