Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Luke Short (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johann Naboo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Naboo has chosen It's Not Unusual by Tom Jones as his entrance music. Johann Naboo is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Short moves into the clinch successfully.
Naboo fails to pull guard.
Short tries to score a body lock takedown but Naboo shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Short gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Naboo.

Short has hold of one of Naboo's legs. Naboo is fighting the takedown attempt but Short gets the trip and lands the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Naboo wants to get back to his feet but Short is in a dominant position and won't allow it.

Naboo is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.

Short looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Naboo is fending him off so far but Short persists. Nope, Naboo circles away and we're back to standing.

Naboo is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Short is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
Short is working an open guard so Naboo takes the opportunity to get back to his feet.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
