The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Huka Huka throws a series of strikes that have Silva backpedaling.
It looks like Mario Silva has been cut.
Huka Huka digs a good hook to Silva's body.
Huka Huka scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Huka Huka cracks Silva with an uppercut from hell and Silva crumples to the canvas, he's out! Oh no, he's recovered and he's grabbed one of Huka Huka's legs and pulled him into guard. The ref thought about stopping it there but he's let it go - good reffing!
Silva is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
Huka Huka gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
Huka Huka is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Silva flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Silva is out cold! Huka Huka holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Xingu Huka Huka!
Xingu Huka Huka opened up his post fight interview with a scream to camera that he wants a title shot! Whether he deserves the shot will be up to the management of the organization, so I guess he'll have to wait and see.
Mario Silva spoke after the fight, saying 'I Will Get Back To Train Harder And Improve To Win My Next Fight'.
