Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Jung Ho Kang!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Joe Sai!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Hirohito Nitta and Yuuki Gou.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kang throws a jab but it's blocked by Sai.
Joe Sai seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kang decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Kang seems to be working for a kimura but Sai defends the submission attempt.
Sai is in trouble now - Kang has advanced to mount!
Sai tries to hold on but Kang postures up.
Sai really wants to buck Kang off and get back to his feet.
Sai has left one of his arms exposed and Kang doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Sai screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
