Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Solomon Bolton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jake Dilaxo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jake Dilaxo has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

3 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Solomon Bolton!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, Colin Fotheringham and Phil Schofield.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bolton dodges the punch combination from Dilaxo.
Dilaxo shoots in and drives through. Bolton sprawls well.
Bolton has closed the distance and engaged Dilaxo in a clinch.
Bolton drops down looking for an ankle pick but Dilaxo pulls his leg out and moves away.
Dilaxo tries for a takedown but Bolton sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Dilaxo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Bolton tries to avoid it but Dilaxo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Bolton to the ground. Bolton escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Solomon Bolton has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jake Dilaxo.

Bolton working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dilaxo doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dilaxo manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Bolton manages to wriggle out and sneak his way back up to his feet, so the fighters are now clinched up against the cage.

Dilaxo changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bolton fights it off and pushes away nicely.
A swing and a miss from Bolton.
Sloppy strikes from Dilaxo. Those never looked like landing.
Horrible takedown attempt by Bolton or perhaps it was just good defense by Dilaxo, which made it look bad.
Dilaxo is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Dilaxo jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bolton walks away with a smile on his face. Dilaxo gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Bolton is working for takedown but Dilaxo is calmly controlling the position for now.

That was a close round but I would say that Solomon Bolton will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Dilaxo looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bolton is fending him off so far but Dilaxo persists. Nope, Bolton circles away and we're back to standing.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Dilaxo escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bolton gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Bolton seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

That was a close second round but I would say that Solomon Bolton will probably get the nod.

Bolton is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Dilaxo has his hands clasped together but Bolton extends and breaks Dilaxo's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Bolton.
