The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pugh with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Nube to score with a decent uppercut.

It looks like Ignacio Pugh has been cut.
Nube lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin.
Nube lands with a nice body punch.
Davy Nube seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Pugh showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Nube.
Pugh tries to counter with a takedown but Nube is quick to defend against it.
Nube throws a nice looking combination but Pugh bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

Nube cracks Pugh with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Nube has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Pugh to stand back up!

OH! Pugh has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Nube smells blood and charges in for the finish! Nube unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Pugh sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
