Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Pablo Segurado!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 4 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Vitor Valakas!
The judges for this bout are Sandra Marshall, Santiago Holmes and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Segurado throws a body kick that misses.
Valakas shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Segurado as he jumps to the side.
Valakas misses with a series of wild punches.
A bone on bone clash there as Valakas blocks the leg kick.
Segurado scores with a head kick. Valakas tried to block it but didn't get his arm up in time.
Segurado tries a head kick but it misses.
Segurado throws a head kick but Valakas moves out of range.

Valakas closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Segurado did well to prevent Valakas getting side control.
Segurado regains full guard. Nicely done.
Valakas not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Valakas lands a couple of digs.
Valakas working from the guard for now, landing some ground and pound.
Valakas postures up and lands a big shot to Segurado's brow.
Valakas is working Segurado over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

Segurado keeping moving, preventing Valakas from controlling successfully.
Valakas stands up over Segurado, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Valakas stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Segurado swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Valakas sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Segurado wants to stand but Valakas is controlling the position.
Valakas passes into half guard.
Valakas passes to side control.
Valakas landing with strikes to the head and body from side control.

Segurado is trying to escape and get back to his feet.
Valakas trying to control the position but Segurado is working away.
Valakas cracks Segurado with a big elbow.
Valakas lands an elbow.
Valakas happy to just control the position for now.
Valakas in side control lands a decent elbow.
Segurado wants to escape from the position here - easier said than done!
Valakas is working Segurado over with some ground and pound from side control.

You can see the frustration on Segurado's face as Valakas controls the position.
Segurado is looking to reverse the position.
We've been hearing good reports from Segurado's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Valakas lands some shots froms side control.
Valakas lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face.


Segurado is rocked!
Valakas works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Oh Segurado is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Valakas has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Segurado!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Valakas cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
Segurado is looking to get to half guard.
Segurado is breathing heavily.
Valakas postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Segurado in real trouble here! The ref calls for Segurado to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:50 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Vitor Valakas!
Vitor Valakas made sure to give a little speech post fight, saying 'Gimme the mic'.. Yeah MMA world I am here, come test me and you'll see I am the greatest Superstar in the world at anything I do. NEXT!.....'.
The defeated Pablo Segurado had this to say: 'Fvck this organization. '.
