PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Gabriel Vera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rassoul Aliev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Vera might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Pendulum - Tarantula. We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Aliev cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.

Vera closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.

Vera is looking to take a break and control but Aliev is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
Vera has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
