Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, James Ackerman and Chris Edwards.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A nice inside leg kick there by Foster. That's going to slow Hale down.
Hale looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Foster scores with a jab to the body.
Hale is trying hard to land a takedown here. Foster sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
Hale tries to sprawl but Foster drives through with a takedown into half guard.
Foster is taking a breather. Hale says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Foster seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hale for as long as he can get away with.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Foster not landing any meaningful shots this time.

Foster will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Foster continues to stall.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
A left lands for Foster.
It looks like Shaun Hale has been cut.
Foster feints with a shoulder and throws a nice leg kick to Hale's calf.
Foster keeps Hale at a distance using the push kick.
Hale takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Hale takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Hale on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Hale takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Foster knocks out Hale with a massive right hand! The ref tackles Foster before he can follow up with any more strikes and that's it everyone. Foster picks up the big W with a huge KO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Foster!
