PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Buru Doragon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johnny Bones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Doragon walks into a left hand.
Doragon tries to move into range but Bones moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
A jab from Bones does it's job there.
Bones throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
Bones paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Bones lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
Bones jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Bones pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Bones takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bones misses the shot to the body.
A jab from Bones finds it's way through Doragon's defenses.
Bones throws a nice head kick!
Doragon keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Bones.
Doragon half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Bones looks to throw the jab but Doragon is out of range.
Bones thuds a left hand into Doragon's body.
Doragon fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Danga de danga de dang - Doragon scores with a four punch combination!
Bones throws a looping overhand right but Doragon ducks down to avoid it.
Bones takes a swing at Doragon's ribcage but misses.
Bones keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
A big left from Bones misses.
Doragon shoots in looking for a takedown. Bones tries to sprawl out of it but Doragon keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Bones manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Doragon closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Bones connects with a looping right hand.
Doragon moves forwards but Bones connects with a nice, crisp jab.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bones bobs and weaves and then throws a good body kick.

Bones lands with a cross.
Bones is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range.
Doragon moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Doragon has Bones up against the cage in a clinch.

Bones breaks from the clinch.
Bones connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.
Doragon with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Bones to score with a decent uppercut.
Bones moves into range and connects with a jab.

Doragon rushes Bones and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.

Bones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Bones missing with a left hand there. Doragon was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Doragon misses the jab.
Bones cracks Doragon with a good jab.
Bones explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Doragon drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Bones misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Doragon.
Doragon changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit.
Doragon misses with a few strikes there.
Doragon scores with a hook to the body. Bones takes a step back and tries to catch his breath.
A left lands for Doragon.
Bones slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Bones misses with a hook.
Bones throws a poor cross that misses
and Doragon counters with a lovely straight right hand!

The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Bones lands with a kick to the temple. Doragon shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Doragon needs to keep his hands up - Bones had a free shot at his head there.
Doragon displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Bones throws out the jab.
Doragon throws a body punch but Bones moves out of range.
Johnny Bones is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Bones lands a jab to the head.
Doragon blocks a jab.
Decent striking displayed by Bones there.
Doragon wants to clinch.
Bones connects with a crisp jab.
Bones cracks Doragon with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Bones throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Bones clobbers Doragon with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise.
The crowd applaud the fighters' efforts here as the round comes to an end.
Doragon moves out of range of the strikes.
Doragon swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
Doragon dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
Bones loses concentration momentarily and Doragon pounces with a three punch combo! Right, left, right! Bones crashes face first to the mat, out cold! Doragon finishes this one with a fantastically precise combo! Great stuff.
