Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Colburn Sackett (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Edgar Cano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Edgar Cano has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Colburn Sackett!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Edgar Cano!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Cano with that takedown attempt.
Cano shoots for a takedown but Sackett saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Cano fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Sackett avoids it really well and circles away.
Colburn Sackett has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Edgar Cano.
No luck with that takedown attempt from Cano.
Cano shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cano takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Cano throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Sackett was covering up waiting for the punch and Cano finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Cano drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Cano jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Cano drops back looking for a leg! Sackett is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sackett manages to kick Cano off! Cano jumps back into Sackett's guard.
Sackett not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Cano passes easily into side control. Nice work.
Cano is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Sackett looks calm but he's in trouble here. Cano gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Sackett is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Cano lets go of the hold and Sackett can pop his arm back in it's socket.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:32 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Edgar Cano!
After winning the bout, Edgar Cano thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
