Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lou Sanus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Softly Weeping (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanus comes to the cage accompanied by I Have a Dream. There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sanus fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Weeping sprawls well initially but Sanus persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Sanus tries to pass the half guard into mount. Weeping knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Weeping works his way to full guard. Good work.
Weeping looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Sanus puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.
Sanus is keen to just control but Weeping is a slippery customer.

Sanus is trying to work for a kimura but Weeping is defending well.
Weeping is trying to maintain the position but Sanus is very close to passing his half guard.
Weeping is looking for a sweep. Sanus is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sanus is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Weeping sees it coming and defends easily.

Weeping is defending against the submission attempts here by Sanus.
We've been hearing good reports from Sanus's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.
Weeping is trying to control but can't.

Weeping is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Sanus winds up and cracks Weeping with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Weeping is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sanus pulls his head out easily.

Sanus is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Weeping is just riding it out for now. Sanus eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

It looks like Softly Weeping has been cut.
Weeping tries to reverse the position but Sanus maintains control.
Weeping is still trying to improve position.
Weeping sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.
Weeping trying to control here but he's found himself mounted! Oh no!
Weeping wants to hold on but Sanus pushes him away.
Sanus lands a heavy elbow.

That has opened up Softly Weeping's cut even more.
Weeping is desperately trying to improve his position but Sanus has a good base and remains in mount.

Sanus looking for a guillotine from mount but Weeping is having none of it.

Sanus with a couple of short strikes.

The cut above Softly Weeping's eye is starting to cause him problems now.

The referee calls the doctor in to look at Softly Weeping's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!

A very excited looking Lou Sanus rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
