Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Qui Gon Jinn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alton Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jinn comes to the cage accompanied by Duel of the Fates. Alton Brown looks lathargic as he enters the arena. Wake up son, you're about to have a fight!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brown jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Brown looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
Jinn swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Jinn waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Brown.
Jinn misses with a straight left.
Brown steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from Jinn.
Brown uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Jinn.
Jinn jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Brown wants to counter with a clinch but Jinn pushes him away.
Jinn has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Beast Playground in the buildup to the fight.
Brown walks into a stiff left hand from Jinn.

It looks like Alton Brown has been cut.
Jinn connects with a body shot.
Jinn throws a body punch but Brown moves out of range.
Brown bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Jinn misses with an uppercut. Brown saw that one coming.
Brown has done a lot of speed work in the buildup to this fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Jinn is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Qui Gon Jinn seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Jinn, as that shot connected.

Jinn throws out a loose jab but Brown uses good head movement to avoid it.

Jinn throws a hook to the side of Brown's head but Brown sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Brown wants to counter with a clinch but Jinn pushes him away.

Jinn misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Brown.
Brown is trying to avoid his opponent's strikes and get into the clinch.

Jinn drops Brown with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Brown looks back up at him and smiles so Jinn waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Brown tries to counter with a clinch but Jinn shakes him off and moves away.

Jinn scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Brown doesn't seem bothered though.

Brown seems to have recovered his senses.

Brown wants to counter the offense by Jinn and move into the clinch position.

Jinn throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Brown sees it coming and avoids it easily.

Jinn feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Brown sprawling to the canvas! Brown rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Jinn finish him?!

Jinn looks to land a left hand but Brown moved out of range nicely.

Jinn throws a right and a left that Brown avoids nicely.
Jinn throws a hook but Brown blocks it.
Jinn misses with a few strikes there.
Jinn throws a jab but it's blocked by Brown.
Jinn throws a lazy right hand but Brown sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Jinn drops Brown with a huge uppercut! Brown drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Jinn is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:30 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Qui Gon Jinn!
After the fight, Qui Gon Jinn was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
