The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slapping leg kick lands for Vampa.
Prokhorov's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Prokhorov duly obliges.
Vampa with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Prokhorov takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

and Prokhorov counters with a series of strikes. Vampa will be more careful next time no doubt.

Prokhorov is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Vampa connects with a leg kick. Prokhorov looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.

Vampa darts in and clinches Prokhorov up against the cage.

Prokhorov unleashes a big counter combination but Vampa bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Vampa shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Prokhorov as he jumps to the side.

Vampa looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Prokhorov goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Prokhorov enables Vampa to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Prokhorov manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Vampa tries to free his leg and advance position but Prokhorov is retaining full guard.

Vampa is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Prokhorov defends it well.

Vampa in side control here. He's dropped a big elbow there and Prokhorov looks hurt! Oh, he is hurt! Vampa turns on the heat and pounds him out for a TKO victory! Good killer instinct there!
