Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Keiji Hashimoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Blackbeard The Pirate (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Hashimoto might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Holding Out For A Hero (Japanese Version). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hashimoto closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
The Pirate throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Hashimoto's head.
Hashimoto keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
Hashimoto throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
The Pirate avoids the body shot from Hashimoto.
Hashimoto lands with a thumping leg kick.
Hashimoto shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
That kick from The Pirate tenderised Hashimoto's leg. Hashimoto is trying to keep his angry face on.
Some bone on bone action there as Hashimoto checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Hashimoto has his foot on The Pirate's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. The Pirate works his way back into a safe position though.

Hashimoto has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. The Pirate is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Hashimoto.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Hashimoto crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from The Pirate - the referee stops the clock and Hashimoto gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says The Pirate. Hashimoto manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.

The Pirate rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Hashimoto moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

A very excited looking Blackbeard The Pirate rambled incoherently for about 5 minutes post fight about how awesome he is. It was kinda funny for a while but then everyone got annoyed.
