Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Czeslaw Koks!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Zeus Zorrander!
The judges for this bout are Johanna Lukiainen, Arvi Lind and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zorrander displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Koks throws out the jab.
Koks's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Zorrander connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Koks scrambles back to his feet.
It looks like Czeslaw Koks has been cut.
Zorrander with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Koks throws an off balance right hand
and Koks takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Koks fails with the takedown
and Zorrander counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Koks throws a series of punches but Zorrander moves out of range.
Zorrander looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Zorrander lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Koks up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs Zorrander from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Koks's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:28 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Zeus Zorrander!
An out of breath and clearly excited Zeus Zorrander thanked Conviction for their help and support (and free stuff they sent him).
