Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Go Yamamoto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Coach Goochman (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Goochman is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Public Enemy - He Got Game. This should be fireworks!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Go Yamamoto!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Coach Goochman!
The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Eliza Hachem and Donatello Bradman.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Goochman closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Yamamoto to the mat! Yamamoto manages to get full guard.
Goochman wants to control from the top but Yamamoto keeps moving.
Goochman controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Yamamoto had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Goochman is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Yamamoto Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Goochman's back instead.
Goochman trying to control the position but Yamamoto manages to sink in the hooks.
Goochman is trying to avoid being dragged into an even worse position than he's already in but Yamamoto is staying active.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Goochman is keeping busy.
Yamamoto is working the ground and pound. Can Goochman escape?
Goochman breaks Yamamoto's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Goochman trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Goochman has gone for a leg lock! Yamamoto slips out almost immediately though and dives into Goochman's guard.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Goochman can do anything to dispel that myth.

Yamamoto tries to stand but Goochman is controlling from the bottom.

Goochman has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Yamamoto can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Yamamoto postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.

Yamamoto decides he's had enough of playing guard and decides to stand. Come on Goochman, up you get!
Goochman is looking to chop away at Yamamoto's legs.
Goochman misses with a head kick.

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Yamamoto manages to break the clinch.
Goochman fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
Yamamoto tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Goochman throws a chopping leg kick but Yamamoto manages to avoid taking any serious damage.
Yamamoto sets himself and throws a head kick that knocks Goochman to the ground! Yamamoto dives into full mount looking to finish!

It looks like Coach Goochman has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Goochman takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Yamamoto's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
