Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Igor Byhenikov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ultra Winner (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 5 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Igor Byhenikov!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 7 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ultra Winner!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Sandra Marshall and Santiago Holmes.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Byhenikov throws a combination that misses

and Winner decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Byhenikov's guard.
Winner showing good wrestling skills to control the position.
Byhenikov really is a fat lump.
Byhenikov wants to stand up but Winner is controlling him.

Byhenikov is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Winner defends well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Byhenikov looking to hit a scissor sweep but Winner is one step ahead there.
Byhenikov is breathing heavily.

Winner slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
It looks like Winner might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
Byhenikov looking to control but Winner passes into half guard.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Winner in particular looking to stall.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Byhenikov is trying to control but Winner passes into side control!
Byhenikov trying to remain calm as Winner controls from the top position.
Winner is continuing to stall.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Winner shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Winner showed some decent athleticism there.

Byhenikov makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

Winner is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Byhenikov's half guard.
Byhenikov is looking to get back to is feet but Winner passes into side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Byhenikov is trying to escape the position but Winner is controlling the position.

Let's hope that Winner has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's time! Byhenikov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky.
Winner gets a takedown into half guard.
Byhenikov is looking to get back to is feet but Winner passes into side control.
You can see the frustration on Byhenikov's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
A lull in the action here.
Winner gets to mount! Byhenikov was on the offensive and wasn't defending properly.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Winner tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Ultra Winner has got the better of the ground game so far.

We're seeing a lot of stalling here from Winner.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
The adventures of Winner the control monster continue. Boring.
Byhenikov is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.

Winner takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Winner's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.
More stalling from Winner.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ultra Winner showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
That's time! Byhenikov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!



Winner looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Byhenikov is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Winner is holding on to half guard well.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Winner can do anything to dispel that myth.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Winner makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Winner.

Winner wants to sweep but no luck.
Byhenikov throwing strikes from guard but Winner blocks nicely.
Winner manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Byhenikov manages to get himself to full guard.


Byhenikov looking for subs off his back but Winner has passed one foot through into half guard.
Byhenikov tries to regain full guard. Instead though, Winner has advanced to mount. Uh oh.

Winner controlling the position easily from mount.
Yet more stalling tactics from Winner.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Winner with more of the same as he continues to hold on.
Winner has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Igor Byhenikov has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!

And that's the end of the fight!
Ultra Winner comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Winner has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
