Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Wallace (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Calvin McGrath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan Wallace could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Calvin McGrath's chin.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Ryan Wallace!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of New York, Calvin McGrath!
The judges for this bout are Columbo Gatti, Alyssa Summers and Chad Campbell.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGrath looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it.
Wallace will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Ryan Wallace seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McGrath throws a jab but it's blocked by Wallace.
McGrath misses with the combination.
A punch combination from Wallace misses.
Wallace lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but McGrath circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

McGrath blocks a couple of punches on the inside.

Wallace throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
McGrath wants to counter the offense by Wallace and move into the clinch position.
Wallace throws a right hand that McGrath ducks under and follows up with a left that McGrath also avoids with ease.

Wallace swings wildly with an uppercut but McGrath uses good head movement to avoid it.
McGrath is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Wallace pulls him back up using the underhooks.
McGrath looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Wallace is looking for a triangle but McGrath pushes his legs off easily.

Wallace looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! McGrath has picked Wallace up and slammed him! Wallace can't keep hold of the triangle and McGrath manages to pass to side control!
McGrath wants to lay and pray for a moment but Wallace keeps working.
McGrath has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Wallace tries to escape but McGrath is in control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
McGrath swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
McGrath throws a lazy right hand but Wallace sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

McGrath lets it all go there with a big combo counter but none of the punches connected.
Wallace throws a head kick but McGrath moves out of range.
Wallace feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits McGraths jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

McGrath throws a nice looking combination but Wallace bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.

McGrath avoids a punch combination nicely.
Sloppy strikes from Wallace. Those never looked like landing.

No joy there for Wallace, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Wallace.
McGrath changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Wallace is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of McGrath's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take McGrath's back!

McGrath stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Wallace swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Wallace is looking to stand up but McGrath isn't so interested in that idea.

McGrath drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Wallace defends it well.

I would just about give that final round to Calvin McGrath.
I think Wallace has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
