Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Mauricio Reilly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Connor Woolley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Mauricio Reilly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Connor Woolley!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Dmitry Maklakov and Vladimir Khabensky.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Woolley closes the distance and pushes Reilly back into the cage.

Reilly gets control of Woolley's arms and successfully pulls guard. Reilly will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Reilly's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Woolley tries to pull guard but Reilly forces him back to his feet, against the cage.
Reilly scores with a nice hook to the head.
Woolley is pressed up against the cage. Reilly has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Woolley down to the mat. Woolley avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Woolley misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Woolley shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Reilly pinned against the cage. Reilly gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Reilly quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect.

Reilly tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Woolley's elbow.

Woolley has his foot on Reilly's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Reilly works his way back into a safe position though.

Reilly postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Woolley is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Reilly, into his guard.

Woolley is looking to work some ground and pound but Reilly has wrist control.
Reilly is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Woolley accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Woolley loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry.
Reilly utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound.
Reilly pulls Woolley in close to prevent any damage.

Reilly is trying to keep Woolley in close.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Reilly looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Connor Woolley dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.


A telegraphed takedown attempt from Woolley is defended easily by Reilly.

Reilly throws a push kick but Woolley slaps the foot to one side.
Woolley shoots for a double leg takedown but Reilly sprawls well. He's pushed Woolley's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Reilly is looking to counter the offense by Woolley and move into the clinch.

Woolley looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Reilly is fending him off so far but Woolley persists. Nope, Reilly circles away and we're back to standing.

Woolley jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Reilly walks away with a smile on his face. Woolley gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Woolley jumps guard but Reilly turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing.
Woolley has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Reilly is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Reilly is pushing Woolley up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.

Well Reilly has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
