Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kaleb Forrest (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Peter Parker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Peter Parker has the eye of the tiger tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kaleb Forrest!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Peter Parker!
The judges for this bout are Frank Dennis, Stewart Dunkirk and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Forrest gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.
Forrest throwing some rather feeble looking strikes off his back.
Forrest looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Forrest trying to control the position.
Forrest is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Forrest not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
Parker trying to stand up but can't free himself from Forrest's guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Parker wants to control from the top but Forrest keeps moving.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
Forrest swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Forrest shoots in looking for a takedown. Parker tries to sprawl out of it but Forrest keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Parker manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Kaleb Forrest seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Parker drives through and clinches with Forrest against the cage.
Parker tries to pull guard but Forrest holds him up against the cage and eventually Parker drops back down to his feet.

Parker ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Parker no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.

Forrest throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Parker is looking to improve his position.
Parker is refusing to be controlled, as Forrest sits in half guard.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Forrest fails to land the takedown.
Forrest tries to score with a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Forrest throws a right hand that Parker ducks under and follows up with a left that Parker also avoids with ease.
Parker tries for a takedown but Forrest sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Kaleb Forrest has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Peter Parker.

and Forrest counters with a shoot takedown. Parker fights it but they end up in guard.
Parker really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Forrest. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Forrest is breathing heavily.

Kaleb Forrest dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Parker is looking to clinch but Forrest is avoiding it.
Forrest tries to bum rush Parker with a series of wild strikes but Parker uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Parker lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Forrest backs up against the cage.


It looks like Kaleb Forrest has been cut.
Forrest avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Parker throws a wild body kick that Forrest sees coming a mile off.

Forrest shoots in and bounces Parker off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Forrest postures up.

Parker working away from the bottom but not quite defensive enough there because Forrest has passed into half guard!

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

Forrest is trying to control the action in half guard but Parker is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
Forrest is pressing down on Parker's thigh, looking to free his foot. Parker is holding on for now.

Forrest is looking to pass the guard... He's managed it - he's now in full mount!

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Parker tries to hold on but Forrest pushes him away.
Forrest thowing shots but they're missing.

Forrest lands a nice shot to the head.

Parker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.

You get the feeling that Parker really doesn't like being in this position too much.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.

Parker pushes Forrest up against the cage in a clinch.

Parker breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Parker drives through and clinches with Forrest against the cage.
Parker fails to pull guard.
Parker prevents Forrest from breaking the clinch.
Parker gets underhooks to prevent Forrest's takedown attempt.

Parker is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Forrest can't fight it off and eventually Parker manages to take the fight to the floor. Forrest looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Peter Parker showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.
The cut man is working on Kaleb Forrest's cut.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!


Parker shoots in for a takedown but Forrest shows good takedown defense.
Forrest throws a left and a right that both miss
and Parker counters with a left and a right that stings Forrest.
Nice takedown defense from Forrest. No joy for Parker on that attempt.
Parker showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Forrest.

and Forrest counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Parker wants to sweep here but Forrest controlling him for the moment.

Forrest gets to his feet. Parker looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
Parker misses with a leg kick

and Forrest counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Forrest trying to control but Parker is working from the bottom.
Forrest really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Parker is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Parker closes the distance and clinches up with Forrest, looking for a takedown. Parker pushes Forrest against the cage but Forrest circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Parker throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.

Parker changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Forrest tries to avoid it but Parker manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Forrest to the ground. Forrest escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

and Parker counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Forrest's guard now.

Parker must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
Parker pushes down on Forrest's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Forrest has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Parker is working away from the top position though.
Forrest wants to get back to his feet.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Forrest wants to get back to full guard.
Forrest manages to get to full guard.
Parker wants to stand but Forrest is controlling his posture from full guard.
Parker makes a bit of distance and scores with some ground and pound, still in guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.
