The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Leandro Rodrigues and Seu Braga.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holliday attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Holliday feints a jab promting Ribeiro to slip. Holliday then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Ribeiro slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Holliday keeps the fight on the outside.
Ribeiro closes the distance and clinches up with Holliday, looking for a takedown. Ribeiro pushes Holliday against the cage but Holliday circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Ribeiro shoots in but no luck this time.
Holliday swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Holliday scores with a shot to the body.
Ribeiro's hands are dropping dangerously low here and Holliday connects clean with a right hook that sends him down to one knee! Ribeiro scrambles back to his feet.
Holliday wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Holliday cracks Ribeiro with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Holliday has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Ribeiro to stand back up!
Ribeiro is rocked!
This has been an exciting period of action!
OH! Ribeiro has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Holliday smells blood and charges in for the finish! Holliday unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Ribeiro sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!
