Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Colombo throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Jab, jab by McBot - just one landing.
Colombo jabs McBot right on the nose. McBot blinks but takes it well.
Colombo tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

McBot throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Colombo tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. McBot is in Colombo's guard.
McBot's corner is telling him to maintain position.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Colombo can't keep his opponent in guard - McBot advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.

The referee calls for the fighters to work.

McBot scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Colombo can do anything to dispel that myth.

McBot seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move. He lands a short punch in the meantime.
Colombo is in trouble now - McBot has advanced to mount!

McBot has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

McBot postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Colombo in real trouble here! The ref calls for Colombo to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
