Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jamezdin Shraf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tyke Mitchell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Shraf might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to O.C. - time's up . Mitchell has chosen Ride The Lightning as his entrance music. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shraf moves out of range of the strikes.
Jamezdin Shraf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Shraf bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.

Shraf scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Mitchell to see if he's OK.

Mitchell felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Shraf creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Mitchell sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike.

Mitchell avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Mitchell really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Shraf. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
