Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Franklin Fitzgerald (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Temoodschin Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Franklin Fitzgerald!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Temoodschin Khan!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Fitzgerald throws a body kick that misses.
A big right from Fitzgerald misses.
Fitzgerald blocks a head kick by Khan.

Khan lands a high kick to the side of Fitzgerald's head that stuns him and send him tumbling down to the canvas! Khan dives into guard, looking to finish.

It looks like Franklin Fitzgerald has been cut.

Khan has gone for a leg lock! Fitzgerald slips out almost immediately though and dives into Khan's guard.

This has been an exciting period of action!
Khan wants to stand but Fitzgerald is controlling the position.
Khan is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.
Khan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Fitzgerald not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Fitzgerald passes Khan's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Khan wants to get back to his feet.

Fitzgerald thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Khan's head.
Khan is trying to stand up here but Fitzgerald is controlling him well.

Khan pushes Fitzgerald off and gets back to his feet.
Khan buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Fitzgerald lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
Fitzgerald scores with a jab.
Fitzgerald connects with a combination that backs up Khan into the cage. Fitzgerald lands a flurry of punches that gets past Khan's guard. Khan is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Fitzgerald bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
