Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Pejro Karesky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Marlo Stanfield (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Stanfield comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Up Down kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Marlo Stanfield has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Pejro Karesky's chin.

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 24 - 13 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Pejro Karesky!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Marlo Stanfield!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Chris Edwards and Phil Schofield.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Karesky darts in trying to clinch
and Stanfield counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Nice defenses there by Karesky.
Karesky wants to clinch.
Stanfield throws out a counter right but Karesky avoids it with no problem.
Karesky staying out of range there.
Karesky takes a shot to the body in his stride.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Karesky pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the ropes.

Stanfield tries to keep at a distance but Karesky has taken the fight into the clinch.

The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Stanfield wants to break free but Karesky has control.
Karesky doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close round but Marlo Stanfield will probably get the nod.
That's time! Karesky's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.


Stanfield swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
Stanfield avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Stanfield cracks Karesky with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the ropes.
Karesky fails in his attempt to clinch.
Karesky tries to clinch up but Stanfield circles away and keeps his distance.
Karesky walks into a stiff left hand from Stanfield.

Stanfield escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Stanfield counters with a three punch combo that has Karesky backing up. Karesky nods at Stanfield to acknowledge the strikes.
Karesky dodges the punch combination from Stanfield.
Stanfield on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Karesky. Karesky obviously looking to wear him down.
Pejro Karesky is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Karesky looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple.
Stanfield on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Karesky tries to clinch but Stanfield moves out of range.
Karesky tries to clinch but Stanfield is having none of it.
Karesky has not gone for a single takedown so far in this fight, which seems like a very strange tactic when you consider that he has the superior wrestling and BJJ.

and Stanfield scores with a counter punch that sends Karesky to the canvas! Stanfield smells blood - he's punishing Karesky with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Karesky has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:39 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Marlo Stanfield! Marlo Stanfield retains his lightweight title!
