Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Sid Morrison (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maciej Zegan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Morrison kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is The Clocks. The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Morrison falls off balance throwing a combination
and Zegan counters with an inside leg kick.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Zegan lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Morrison has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Morrison and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

and Morrison counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

Morrison shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Zegan's guard.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Morrison accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Zegan can do anything to dispel that myth.

Morrison thows a huge punch but Zegan dodges it nicely.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Zegan bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Morrison's head backwards.

Zegan slaps away a takedown attempt from Morrison, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Morrison chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Zegan can pounce on him.

Morrison seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Zegan does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Zegan throws a body kick that sends a sickening thudding noise reverberating around the arena.

Zegan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Morrison eats them both and turns towards Zegan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.
Zegan feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Morrisons jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Good leg kick by Zegan there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.
Morrison shoots in but no luck this time.
