Barnes throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Nice uppercut lands for Thug. That snapped Barnes's head back.
Barnes moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Barnes has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Barnes turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Thug loads up on a big right hand but Barnes slips the punch.

and Barnes counters with a nice low kick that buckles Thug's knee momentarily.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Barnes lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Thug at a distance.

Barnes lands a left and a right that send Thug crashing to the mat, dazed. Barnes thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!
Barnes fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Thug manages to avoid it.
