Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Teofilo Sotolongo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Sailele Lealofi (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lealofi has chosen Mata Mata Me as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Sailele Lealofi!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lealofi tries to clinch but Sotolongo moves away

and Sotolongo counters with a crisp one two that drops Lealofi! Sotolongo thinks about following him to the mat for a moment but instead steps back and waves Lealofi to his feet! Lealofi is in big trouble!
Lealofi changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Sotolongo tries to avoid it but Lealofi manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Sotolongo to the ground. Sotolongo escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Lealofi shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Sotolongo as he jumps to the side.

Lealofi looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sotolongo is fending him off so far but Lealofi persists. Nope, Sotolongo circles away and we're back to standing.
We've been told by Sotolongo's head coaches at Lebowski MMA that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.

Lealofi tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Sotolongo paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Teofilo Sotolongo is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Lealofi tries to score a power double leg takedown but Sotolongo sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Lealofi somewhat.
Sotolongo ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.

Lealofi fails with the takedown.

Sotolongo scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.

Lealofi drives through and clinches with Sotolongo against the cage.
Lealofi tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Sotolongo just stands there and leans against the cage.

Lealofi has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Sotolongo uses from the top position.
Lealofi controls Sotolongo momentarily but Sotolongo frees himself.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Lealofi wants to sweep but no luck.
Sotolongo stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Lealofi swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Sotolongo is stalling in the full guard.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Sotolongo tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Lealofi was well out of range. Poor timing from Sotolongo.
Sotolongo throws a series of punches but Lealofi avoids them all with ease.
Sotolongo throws a body punch but Lealofi moves out of range.
Lealofi doesn't manage to clinch there - Sotolongo circles away.
Sotolongo was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.
Lealofi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.

Lealofi moves into the clinch.
A nice left hand lands by Sotolongo.
Sotolongo lands with a left to the head.
Lealofi jumps guard but Sotolongo stands there with Lealofi around his waist. Lealofi gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Sotolongo fakes the leg kick and throws a superman punch. It's knocked Lealofi out cold! Brutal finish!
