Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Drake Barry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Venno Akker (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Barry comes to the cage accompanied by 3 AM. Akker has chosen Static-X - Gimme Gimme Shock Treatment as his entrance music. Venno Akker has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Venno Akker!
The judges for this bout are Anni Minnemäki, Matti Vanhoillinen and Roosa Järviläinen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No luck for Akker with that takedown attempt.
Akker gets caught flat footed, as Barry shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Akker is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Barry is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Akker tries to strike from the bottom.
Barry works over Akker with some ground and pound from guard.
Barry advances to half guard.
Barry lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Barry blocks the strikes from Akker.
Barry controlling the pace.
Barry is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Akker doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Barry.
Barry frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Barry wants to control the pace but Akker is squirming around nicely.
Barry breaks from Akker's wrist control and lands an elbow.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Akker defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Barry.
Barry lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning.
Barry landing punches.
Barry is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Akker can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Akker tries to lock up and control but Barry gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Akker keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Akker looks gassed!
The referee warns Akker that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Barry with shots to the head and body - Akker looks very uncomfortable down there.
Barry scoring with some good ground and pound from mount here. Will he manage to finish Akker?

The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

BOOM! Barry connects with a massive shot to the dome!

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Akker working to try and regain half guard.
Barry fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Barry is in the full mount, landing strikes.
Akker is in all sorts of trouble here.
Akker tries to hold on but Barry pushes him away.
Akker has left one of his arms exposed and Barry doesn't need a second invitation. He's isolated it and locked on a tight armbar. Akker screams and taps out, obviously in a lot of pain. Hopefully there isn't permanent damage to that arm.
