PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Tatsuzo Fukuda (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Yuki Masakazu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Masakazu comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Sepultura - Attitude kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! The key to victory for Tatsuzo Fukuda has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Fukuda enables Masakazu to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Fukuda manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

Fukuda wriggles free and stands up.
Fukuda jabs Masakazu to the body, keeping him at a distance.
Masakazu takes a shot to the body in his stride.

Masakazu scores with a takedown into Fukuda's guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Fukuda is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Masakazu advances position into side control!
Masakazu is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.

Masakazu is working for what looks like an arm triangle here. Fukuda is trying to escape and Masakazu transitions quickly into an armbar! He's slapped it on tight and Fukuda is forced to tap! Nice work there by Masakazu! Very nice indeed!
