Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Ryan Reeves!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, The Boxer And Puncher!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Daniel Franklin and Peter Branson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
And Puncher lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!

Reeves fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. And Puncher sprawls well initially but Reeves persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
And Puncher misses with some strikes from the bottom.
And Puncher is trying to maintain the position but Reeves is very close to passing his half guard.
And Puncher wants to get back to his feet.
Reeves knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for And Puncher on the ground.
Reeves is trying to control the action in half guard but And Puncher is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
And Puncher keeping control of the position.
Reeves is thwarting And Puncher's attempts to control the position.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
And Puncher gets back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Reeves looking to sit in guard and control but And Puncher gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

And Puncher throws a big right hand that misses.
And Puncher sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Reeves's guard.
Reeves might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.
And Puncher wants to stand up but Reeves has a hold of him and won't allow it.
And Puncher not landing any meaningful shots this time.

And Puncher decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Reeves tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but And Puncher defends well and Reeves ends up having to push And Puncher into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Reeves slips a jab and a cross from And Puncher.
The fight stays on the outside here - And Puncher looks like he's thinking about clinching though.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
And Puncher throws a right hand that Reeves ducks under and follows up with a left that Reeves also avoids with ease.
And Puncher misses with a takedown
enabling Reeves to counter with a crisp jab.


It looks like The Boxer And Puncher has been cut.
And Puncher looks winded!
And Puncher moves in looking to clinch but Reeves pushes him off.

Reeves scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.

Reeves is trying to get an arm triangle but And Puncher is defending well.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
And Puncher tries to escape but Reeves is in control.
Reeves cracks And Puncher with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Reeves tries for a kimura but And Puncher is defending well.
Reeves moving around in side mount but really he's just happy to control for now.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Reeves trying to control the position but And Puncher is working away.
And Puncher is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Reeves has just dragged him back down to the mat.

Reeves is trying to get an arm triangle but And Puncher is defending well.

And Puncher sneaks out the side door and pushes Reeves away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Reeves swats away the attempt to clinch by And Puncher.
And Puncher scores with a nice head shot.
Reeves throws a right and a left that both miss.
And Puncher tries to close the distance and clinch but Reeves swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.

Reeves scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice.
We've been informed that And Puncher has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.

Reeves has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
And Puncher tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Reeves swivels and escapes.

Reeves bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
And Puncher sneaks a leg under to get back to half guard.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Reeves trying to control the pace.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Ryan Reeves will probably get the nod.
The cut man is working on The Boxer And Puncher's cut.
The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!


And Puncher ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
And Puncher tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Reeves manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.

And Puncher throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Reeves tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. And Puncher is in Reeves's guard.
And Puncher stopping the sweep attempt from Reeves.
Reeves trying to keep a closed guard but And Puncher is proving a slippery customer.

And Puncher gets to his feet - Reeves follows without any prompting.

And Puncher gets the takedown into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

And Puncher working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.
And Puncher is breathing heavily.
Reeves tries to bench press And Puncher off him but And Puncher keeps the position.

That's one minute gone in the round.
And Puncher wants to lay and pray for a moment but Reeves keeps working.
Reeves on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Reeves tries to get out of the position.
Reeves tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Reeves is working hard here to advance position.
And Puncher works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
Reeves is trying to get back to half guard.
And Puncher trying to control the position but Reeves is working away.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
And Puncher misses with the ground and pound.

And Puncher in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Reeves is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
