Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, nn nn!
The judges for this bout are Michael Johnstone, Dirk Anderson and David Hoff.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Porcher swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Porcher moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromnn.
nn looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight!
nn defending well as Porcher loads up on a big left hand.
nn has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Porcher is landing a low percentage of strikes.
nn fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Porcher avoids it really well and circles away.
Porcher tries to counter with a takedown but nn is quick to defend against it.

Porcher closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Porcher scores with a couple of short elbows.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Porcher has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
nn tries to check a leg kick but that clearly hurt him.

Porcher has taken the fight to the clinch.

Porcher jumps into guard, dragging nn to the mat.
Porcher is pulling down on nn's head to control his posture.
nn must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Porcher bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in nn's guard.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Porcher seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
nn on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.

Porcher takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's time! Porcher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.



Porcher darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Porcher connects with a nice short shot to nn's temple.
Porcher will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
nn trying to get back to full guard but Porcher takes advantage of the position and moves to full mount!
The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Porcher cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!

Porcher looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.

Porcher is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet!

nn now looks to counter with a shot at the body.
Porcher is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that nn can do to turn this around?

Porcher clinches.
Porcher wants to take the fight to the mat but nn manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.
Porcher lands an elbow that stopped nn in his tracks for a moment.

Porcher has picked nn up - he's going for a ride! Porcher dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Porcher has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Porcher stands up from half guard.

Porcher shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. nn manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.

Porcher postures up and lands a big shot to nn's brow.

Porcher gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.
nn moves out of range of the body kick.
nn is loading up here, looking for a big counter of his own.

Porcher darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
Well, if Porcher is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Porcher decides to return to a standing position.

Porcher has closed the distance and engaged nn in a clinch.
Porcher slowing the pace effectively.

Porcher manages to break the clinch.

Porcher tightens his grip and picks nn up, before dumping him to the ground. nn manages to land in guard.
Porcher controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Ortwin Porcher dominated that second round.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!


Porcher misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Porcher wants to clinch up but nn keeps it at a distance.
nn throws a sloppy head kick and Porcher moves out of range easily.

Porcher shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Porcher was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Porcher is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, nn has escaped the position, nice work there.
Porcher advances nicely into full mount.
nn is bucking up trying to escape but Porcher cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
Porcher sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Both fighters are breathing heavily.

Porcher is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. nn can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Porcher moves to the back position.
Porcher scores with a nice shot to the head of his opponent. nn is looking for a way out.
Porcher keeps control of the position easily here as nn tries to buck him off.

That's two minutes gone in the round.

nn is trying to defend against the choke here but Porcher has an arm under his chin. This one might not last much longer. Porcher Tightens the hold and nn taps out furiously! Porcher displays superior BJJ to win the fight.
