Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Dewayne Cain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dolph Keller (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dolph Keller will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dewayne Cain!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Dolph Keller!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Yukihiro Shimada and Kenichi Hosakawa.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Keller instigates a clinch.

Keller drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Cain gets the underhooks and prevents it.

Cain has had enough of the clinch but Keller keeps him there for the moment.

Cain went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Horrible takedown attempt by Keller or perhaps it was just good defense by Cain, which made it look bad.

Keller wants to stand but Cain is controlling the position.

Cain has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Cain is looking to work some ground and pound but Keller has wrist control.
Cain missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
Keller thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.
We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

and Cain counters with a three punch combo that has Keller backing up. Keller nods at Cain to acknowledge the strikes.

Cain really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Keller is breathing heavily.
Keller keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Cain's efforts to push away.

Cain is trying to push Keller away but Keller has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
Cain wants to break free but Keller has control.
Cain drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Keller is looking to control Cain's arms but Cain gets an underhook and turns him. Now Keller has his back to the cage.

Cain is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Keller is just riding it out for now. Cain eventually gives up the hold.

Cain is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Keller sees it coming and defends easily.

Cain is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Cain is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Keller doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Cain.

That was a close second round but I would say that Dewayne Cain will probably get the nod.
That's time! Back to the action! And we move into the final round!

Keller jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Cain walks away with a smile on his face. Keller gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.

Cain slaps away a takedown attempt from Keller, before circling back to the center of the mat.

I think Keller has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
