Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Kristoff Klinkhammer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kalja Turpa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kristoff Klinkhammer!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Kalja Turpa!
The judges for this bout are Ben Zyskovitsi, Matti Vanhoillinen and Johanna Lukiainen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klinkhammer drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Klinkhammer passes Turpa's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Klinkhammer slows the pace down in half guard.
Turpa really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Klinkhammer. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Klinkhammer's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground.
Klinkhammer is nestled in close to Turpa, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.

Klinkhammer seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Turpa for as long as he can get away with.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Turpa tries to get to full guard but Klinkhammer has control of the leg.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Turpa is looking to improve his position.
Klinkhammer looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
Klinkhammer has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
A head kick from Turpa lands but Klinkhammer takes it in his stride.

and Klinkhammer counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Klinkhammer is looking light on his feet compared to last time was saw him fight.
Klinkhammer drives through with a takedown into Turpa's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Turpa is rocked!
Klinkhammer slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.
Turpa is still in real trouble! Can Klinkhammer finish him?
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Klinkhammer seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Klinkhammer loads up on a big left hand. Turpa felt that one! He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Klinkhammer looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Turpa can't hide his disappointment, as Klinkhammer celebrates the victory.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:18 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Kristoff Klinkhammer!
