Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Jai Setright (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Antti Sokka (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Setright comes to the cage accompanied by The Dagger. Sokka is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Black Sun Aeon - Core of Winter. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 24 - 16 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Antti Sokka!
The judges for this bout are Steve Smith, Robert Douchet and Gregory Folan.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sokka takes one to the chin there.
Setright wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection.
Jai Setright seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Setright has Sokka up against the cage in a clinch.
Setright is trying to force a seperation but Sokka has the dominant position.
Sokka prevents a body shot from Setright.
Sokka goes for a takedown attempt but Setright pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Setright throws a mid kick that lands with a slap.

Setright pushes Sokka up against the cage in a clinch.
Sokka jumps guard but Setright stands there with Sokka around his waist. Sokka gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Setright tries to land a knee to the head but misses.
Setright goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Setright tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Setright using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Sokka has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Sokka avoids a wild elbow strike from Setright.
An uppercut to the body lands inside from Setright.

Setright breaks the clinch.
Sokka on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those.
Sokka tries to score a power double leg takedown but Setright sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Sokka somewhat.
Jai Setright has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Antti Sokka.
Setright uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Setright attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Sokka avoids a punch combination nicely.

Setright cracks Sokka with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Sokka takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Sokka takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
The fighters circling - Sokka throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Setright is looking to counter with a shot to the body.
Setright swings for the body but Sokka moves out of range.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Sokka gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Setright gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Sokka is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!
