Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Timothy Weathersworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rocky Marciano (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). On his way into the cage it seems that Timothy Weathersworth has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Timothy Weathersworth seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Weathersworth gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Marciano jumps guard but Weathersworth stands there with Marciano around his waist. Marciano gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

Marciano pulls Weathersworth into guard.

Marciano is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Marciano is on top in guard.
Marciano is pushing down on Weathersworth's leg trying to pass to half guard. Weathersworth is fighting to maintain full guard but Marciano has managed to sneak the leg through.

Marciano is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Marciano seems to be looking for submissions.
Weathersworth tries to kick Marciano off but Marciano keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

Marciano is working for an americana but Weathersworth has been sneaky and has managed to get back to half guard, whilst Marciano was thinking about the submission.

Weathersworth had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. Marciano is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. Weathersworth Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take Marciano's back instead.

Weathersworth cracks Marciano with a big shot to body and one to the head - really punishing Marciano from the back mount here, looking to soften him up.

Marciano is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Weathersworth gets his way!
Will Weathersworth go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Weathersworth is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Marciano is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
Weathersworth doesn't have the hooks in and Marciano manages to turn into his guard.
Marciano stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Weathersworth swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Weathersworth is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Weathersworth is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Weathersworth shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.

Weathersworth shoots in and bounces Marciano off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Weathersworth is breathing heavily.
Weathersworth wants to control from the top but Marciano keeps moving.

Marciano has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Weathersworth can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Weathersworth distracts Marciano with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.
Weathersworth wants to stand but Marciano is controlling his posture from full guard.

Weathersworth wanted to stand there but Marciano had control of the position.
Marciano manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Weathersworth manages to get himself to full guard.

Marciano passes the guard and advances to mount!

Marciano working for a submission here. He's tucked his head under his opponent's arm, looking for an arm triangle. He's hopped off into side control, looking to tighten the submission... is it going to work? He's given up a good position looking for it. Weathersworth looks OK. Oh, I spoke too soon, he's out! That must have been tighter than I thought! Excellent work there by Marciano! Submission of the night perhaps?
