PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Robin Watts (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kamil Bedorf (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Bedorf has a pretty significant injury - he really shouldn't be fighting right now but he's a warrior and he's here none the less! Robin Watts has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksei Zolotukhin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Watts misses with a double jab.

Watts manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Bedorf manages to get himself to full guard.

If it seems like I'm not saying a lot, it's just because Watts is stinking the place up with his stalling.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Bedorf fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Watts sprawls well initially but Bedorf persists and gets the takedown into half guard.

The fighters are battling for position here. Watts manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Bedorf must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
