The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Brewster slips a straight right by Abbott.
Brewster ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Abbott moves away.
Brewster fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Abbott looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Abbott fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.

We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Abbott has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
Brewster lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Abbott circles away quickly and effectively.

It seemed like Abbott was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Brewster and the ref steps in to end the fight! Brewster can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
