Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Brown (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Carrera Villamora (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Brown comes to the cage accompanied by Doomsayer - Hatebreed. Carrera Villamora has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Dave Brown's chin.

The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Radbod Blank and Saam Ante.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Villamora darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like Dave Brown has been cut.
Brown misses with a two punch combination.
A lazy left from Brown finds it's target.
It looks like Carrera Villamora has been cut.

Villamora throws a poor cross that misses
and Brown counters with a good low kick that Villamora was not able to check.
Villamora throws the kick towards the body but Brown avoids it.
Villamora explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.
Villamora on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Brown. Brown obviously looking to wear him down.
Brown wants to clinch but Villamora slips to the side
letting Villamora counter with a right hand.
Villamora's coach down at Hell's Balls NY Hellcademy was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Villamora's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
A bone on bone clash there as Brown blocks the leg kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Brown misses with the body kick
and Villamora counters with a shoot takedown. Brown fights it but they end up in guard.

Brown tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Villamora scores with a couple of nice shots to the head there. The referee takes a look at Brown to see if he's OK.

Brown has one of Villamora's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.
Brown is looking to regain half guard here but Villamora keeps moving and retains side control.

Villamora really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Brown. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Brown, as that shot connected.
Dave Brown seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Brown takes a swing at Villamora's ribcage but misses.
Brown fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Villamora has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.

Villamora throws a fast counter high kick but Brown manages to duck under it in time.
Villamora swings and misses with a shot to the body
and Brown counters with a nice leg kick.
Brown motions for Villamora to come forward. Brown throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

and Brown takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Villamora goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Brown fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Villamora has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Carrera Villamora dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
That's time! Brown's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Brown paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Brown scores with a jab. Villamora acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Brown takes a shot right to the bread basket.
Villamora lands a slapping body shot.
A looping hook to the body misses from Villamora. Brown does a little dance to reset his feet.
Brown throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Brown swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Villamora.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Villamora checks a low kick from Brown.
Villamora tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Brown misses with an uppercut. Villamora saw that one coming.
Villamora looks like he wants to counter punch here.

and Villamora counters with a right hand to the body.

Villamora ducks low and lands a nice hook to the body of his opponent.
Brown looks to land a right hand but Villamora moved out of range.
Villamora throws out a counter right but Brown avoids it with no problem.
Villamora thuds a left hand into Brown's body.
Villamora bobbing and weaving well here. And he's unloaded with a massive right hand that drops Brown! He dives into his guard looking to finish!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Villamora is fighting to break Brown's control of his arms but Brown is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment.
Villamora chips away with some ground and pound.

Brown looking for a sweep. Not yet Brown, not yet.
Brown trying to keep a closed guard but Villamora is proving a slippery customer.
Brown seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.
Villamora lands a couple of elbows.
Villamora is looking to work some ground and pound but Brown has wrist control.
The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Brown lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Villamora circles away quickly and effectively.
Brown misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

Villamora throws a sloppy head kick and Brown moves out of range easily.
Carrera Villamora seems to be getting the better of the standup.
Brown tries to land a front kick but Villamora steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Brown throws a lazy uppercut
and Villamora counters with a leg kick then a big left hand that sends Brown down! Villamora is looking to finish but Brown is intelligently defending himself.

Villamora throws a big elbow that misses.
Villamora throws a sloppy strike and Brown has hooked up an armbar on the loose arm! He's turned and extended fully! Villamora is forced to tap! Great BJJ from Brown!
